GRAFFT Gallery
Located in the heart of the Ouseburn Valley; a spot famous for being the cultural quarter of Newcastle upon Tyne, lies an extravagant new architectural intervention under the arches of the Byker Bridge. Taking inspiration from the creative
Ouseburn community, GRAFFT offers an art gallery, cafe and bar, and a performance venue.
The aim of GRAFFT is to 'break conventions' and offer a different way of
experiencing culture and hospitality in one integrated venue, to challenge the dull, stark environments in which artwork is often displayed. With its main focus on street art, GRAFFT intends to offer an inspiring environment that will encourage visitors own creativity to flourish, whilst celebrating the work of local artists. By integrating a hospitality environment, bar and cafe customers will be immersed in a cultural environment they may not have otherwise experienced.
