YEAR 1: NOON AND NIGHT BAR (PROJECT 2)

My second project of the DE4002 module, which was carried out in my first year of university, marked the introduction to live briefs and working with real, existing sites.

The project brief was to redesign an existing restaurant, in Newcastle, into a bar and brewery. 

The concept of my design is based around the idea of offering 'afternoon brew', a beer inspired version of afternoon tea, as well as a comfortable but lively setting for evening visitors. The scheme therefore intended to have a luxurious feel, to provide for day to evening use, and attract a range of customers of all ages.
